Thank you for all of this helpful information.
I have read that fermented foods can be very helpful in keeping a healthy gut biome. I have started eating sauerkraut ( which I love anyway) that’s organic and the only ingredients are cabbage, water and sea salt. Kimchi is another good option. I imagine olives would also come under this category as would any vegetables fermented in a salt brine. Not a large amount necessary but a small portion 3 x a day.
I appreciate your input!

Hi Rebecca, although there are no specific studies on fermented food, these can generally be helpful to support a healthy microbiome, so go ahead and enjoy the sauerkraut, kimchi and co 🙂

Diet and Parkinsons was a great presentation.
Need to be careful having a dietician on my team. Most dieticians I am aware of are general all-round dieticians focusing on a general balanced diet. Lots of advice on food can be very contradictory. WHAT WE NEED IS A DIETICIAN WHO FULLY KNOWS THE RIGHT FIOOD FOR SOMEONE WITH PD. It was great that your presentation provided this……well done
