    The desk top moves very slowly side to side and this will dictate your steps. the movement is what we call sub-sensitive, there is no interference with your desktop activities, in fact the standing and stepping makes you more alert than sitting. We do not have an “ideal” amount of stepping. We do know from user feedback that most people will over time increase their use, in contrast to what data tell us about a standing desk that typically (but this is of course not true for everyone) is used less over time due to discomfort caused by static standing.
