    Hi Deb,

    On behalf of Richard, he said the following;

    Our current microbiome studies are recruiting for participants in South East Queensland due to the requirement for hospital visits to complete PD clinical scores such as UPDRs. We will soon be starting another study funded by Uniting Care Health and Wesley Medical Research which will be open to regional participants in Australia and will be a microbiome sequencing kit shipped to participants which can be used at home and sent back to our lab for processing. We are currently in the process of getting our research Ethics approvals for this project and expect to start in the second half of 2024.

    So please stay tuned or check our websites. The study will be advertised through Shake It Up Australia, Parkinson’s Australia and Parkinson’s QLD newsletters as well.
