    Hi Josefa,

Thanks so much for a great presentation. I have been following your work over the years and it is great to see your creativity and ingenuity on a bigger scale.

Regarding the kicking in boxing and no difference between the groups…I am curious to know what outcome measures were used and if perhaps there was a ceiling effect or not detecting a change for the AROM and flexibility and strength and balance tested in the task of kicking. For example – was stepping over hurdles/fence or a tai chi or yoga pose that demands a similar level of flexibility as in kickboxing used as an assessment tool or just assessment tools that are standard for daily life? … I guess my comment/questions are around having caution around drawing a conclusion of no difference between the groups…there could be more there that you are not seeing due to your selection of outcome measures… it seems strange to me that demands of a single leg dynamic task didn’t have benefits in its own right.

Lots to think about and be inspired by! Thanks for a clear, informative and inspiring presentation.
