<div>😃 Thank you Marize for your presentation! Excellent advices! 👏
</div><div>I take what I learn and practice in my PDwarrior exercises to Play pickelball.
I love playing Pickelball. I don’t feel I have Parkinson’s when I play it. I was diagnosed 16 years ago with PD. I was 40 years old.

This looks amazing. – do you have any recommendations of how to train for this – ie. if someone wants to play but is not quite ready due to FOG or festination etc.
can it be played seated?

Thanks Marize. It looks an appropriate game to engage in as we transition in ageing. I’ll make some enquiries.

Thanks, Marize. I looked at Pickleball on youtube recently and wondered if people with PD could manage it. It was great to see your video and observe the high level of engagement and enjoyment. I can’t wait to try it!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes it’s so refreshing to find other exercise options to keep challenging yourself and stay at your best. If you are struggling with movement best to discuss with your physio. Happy to take clients on zoom to discuss your entry into pickleball and a pre- exercise plan. You can email me at regainlifephysiotherapy@gmail.com if you want to discuss things more.
Have fun with trying Pickleball!
