Cure Parkinson’s has one bold aim – to find a cure for Parkinson’s.
Everything we do moves us closer to our goal of finding new treatments to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson’s. Your involvement in research will lead to the breakthrough we all want to see. Our leadership and funding of the International Linked Clinical Trials programme enables the world’s leading neuroscientists and neurologists to prioritise together, the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. We’re acting with urgency, for and with people currently living with Parkinson’s, with a focus on research which has the potential to translate into the clinic within five years. One third of disease-modifying trials for Parkinson’s that are underway have been evaluated by our International Linked Clinical Trials (iLCT) programme. Drugs evaluated by the Cure Parkinson’s team, found to have the potential to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s, account for 35% of curative research trials globally. More than 10% of all global disease-modifying trials are being funded by Cure Parkinson’s.
